Health, clearly Coming soon

Health, clearly

Public health data, explained for where you live.

We are building a simple way for anyone, from teenagers to grandparents, to see how healthy their area is, how local NHS services are doing, and what shapes health where they live. One plain question at a time.

What it will be

  • Clear answers to everyday questions How long do people live here? Do children get their jabs? How long are hospital waits? Each answer in plain English.
  • Official figures, with their source Every number comes from a public source, such as NHS England, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, the Office for National Statistics and the UK Health Security Agency, and says where it came from. Each figure is loaded and checked by DataWarp before it appears.
  • Fair and careful No league tables, no blame and no medical advice. Where the figures cannot tell us why something is happening, we say so.

Starting in South West London: Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.

Independent public-data project. Not an NHS service.
